Brain workout ?
Why did I decide to call therapy "brain training"? To be honest and authentic, it wasn’t my decision. My brain trainer, Silvana Capriș, noticed that brain training has different and individual results. There’s a nice story about how this definition came to be. She has been a psychologist for 28 years and has a child who was a very good tennis player and worked with coaches. When I was in the eighth grade, I didn’t want to say that I was going to see a psychologist. But during a meeting, he very calmly said that now he could come without stress because he had told his colleagues. She asked him if he had told them that he was going to see a psychologist. And he answered that he wasn’t crazy, but that he was going to brain training. No one had a brain trainer; they all had football, basketball, and swimming coaches, but no one had a brain trainer. That’s where the term "Brain Coach" comes from.
I mean, I haven’t been in therapy for a long time; I’ve been in therapy for about a month now. And I’ve learned a lot. It’s interesting to observe how self-perception changes over time. It’s amazing how much the psyche can change.
